The photographs and eventually video are all taken from around the "Ards" area.

Newtownards is situated at the head of Strangford Lough which is a major refuge for wild fowl in the winter months. The lough is a rich feeding ground for these winter visiting birds.

It is a beautiful part of these isles and I hope to do it some justice with my phototgraphs and eventually video. So I will start close to home and radiate out over the oncoming months.

If anyone in other parts of the world who are interested in this part of the country and would like to see some place within the Strangford area, just drop me an email and I will try get round to that part of the world for you.
